Malaysian Students

I got a few question for you . Are u taught in a local school in Malaysia? If yes, what do you do when you are given a certain task in the form of assignment that you are clueless about? Do you sit around and moan about how hard it is and just wait around for answers to copy? Or are you the kind of student that sit and wait for your classmate to finish the work before you beg for his draft to copy?

This sounds familiar when you think of it. It could be you or someone you know that does this. I certainly hate this kind of people of this attitude. It defeats the point of education.

Many Malaysian students I know prefer using the word, I Don't Know How To Do. In short it means, "I am lazy to find out what it is and prefer going on Facebook playing games or going to YouTube to watch videos of idiotic people doing idiotic things." I guess it gives them a reflection of their idiotic-ness and whom they are.

I could actually blame the Malaysian education that gives education via spoon feeding. It gives people the ignorance of finding information for themselves. At Degree level it is a lot of self study and research. But many people prefer to sit down and beg for help and moan till the cows come home.

Come on people! That is not how education works! Do your own research and use more Google. NOT FACEBOOK! If your so ignorant you don't know what Google is please kindly click the following link. What Are The Important Things in Life?

It is funny how people in Malaysia are having different thoughts of how the Federal Government are doing to capture back the lost states they lost in previous elections. The surface of it all everything seems fine. But once you look into and ask people whom are aware of politics, they would tell you a different story.

What is the point of having 1Malaysia?
The latest burning of churches and the boar's head in a Mosque have just seriously tarnished the face of Malaysia. Tax payers money were poured into 1Malaysia in a hope it would bridge our relationship closer. But the initial attack on the churches have burnt a serious hole in brand Malaysia.

But once you ask people of the street, who did this sort of thing? The response I got was a surprise. Everyone said the Federal Government aka UMNO. Again I asked why. "They want to gain back their lost seats ma, stupid is it?" That is their response.

For me it doesn't matter, whose fault is it. The fact of the matter is, why does everyone think of it this way? Why racial cards are being played every single time and it happens in Selangor and KL?

Does Love Make You Grow Up?

A friend said something on his Facebook picture that made me think.

"Does being in a relationship makes you grow up?"

Love changes the world and changes the person. Remember the time when you were single and able to be as crazy as you are. Not being afraid of making your significant other face goes red from being ashamed. Unless you are already in a relationship for the number of years on set of hands won't be enough, you would forget this feeling.

Being In Love

Being in love is one of the best feeling in the world. It turns your world around and everything revolves around that special someone. To be honest, you could be a hardcore financial advisor but once you have a girlfriend shit changes. Those whom are in love and got the girl/guy of their dream would know what I am going on about. World seems brighter, somehow gloomier, depending on what kinda relationship your in. You would also learn to take care of someone other then your family member like it is your own. Thats growing up point.

Love and Hate

I have met people who thinks their bf/gf is a complete disturbance in their life. But yet they can't live without them. It is a love hate relationship. But this kind of relationship would tend to end to those who thrive through this, your love is stronger then you imagine. But there are also some who stick to each other and only have eyes for each other and the public is a place to show affections. This sort of relationship from my experience would end 100%. Ask me why when you see me that's if your curious.

Do You Grow Up?

But yes love does make you grow up, when the love ends! Somehow there would be a third party in the form of person or future or thoughts involved. Then the person being dump would crumble and fall. Thats when he/she would be an unstoppable force. Those who never experience this, someone who say they love you forever or love you till the cow comes home. Then he/she tells you, I want to break up!

You would be feeling murderous and want revenge. But you can't do it cause you still love him/her. Then you start to think for yourself and your future and be more responsible then you already are. I am a living proof and a friend of mine is as well. Kudos to him!

Imagine being left out by your friends as you are being dumped. Had to eat your meals alone and at places you have memories of when you are both together. Me and him we have gone through that. Lucky we found out whom our real friends was that stand by us. Grow up: U learn to thrive through pain for sweet success.

Does Sex Mean Love? (reading the following at your own risk and I won't be held responsible)

Well in my point of view, no. Sex makes the relationship hotter. But persevering through a 3 years without sex for a sexually active partner would kill them. Hey I have been through almost 3 years without sex. But true the relationship does get cold. Really cold and you would feel emptiness unless you say pre-maritial sex is a bloody myth. But usually most people lose their virginity to someone they love a bf/gf/crush. I said usually. So Grow Up third point, you gain a new experience in life. Sex. (that is only when you lose your virginity like that) LOL!

BTW girls, if your boyfriend is pushing you for sex and take your virginity, tell him to go fuck a dog! He just wants you for your virginity. Unless he has been with you for over a period of time as in for a couple of years. Give it to him before he cheats. My advice! *winks* maybe a little kissy or maybe a little handjob or letting him touch you a bit in your private region would give him something to hang on to. If your afraid that he would rape you, give him criteria/criterias before you let him touch you. If it fails, kick/punch him in the groin and leave immediately. Try at your own risk.

But love changes the world in your life. A love is strong when you know you can move a mountains. You would do things you would not imagine something progressive to build a better future for each other.

Ladies, your men are soft at heart even if he portrays a strong individual. Kiss him and do things that tickles his soft spot when the time for him is right. He would love you for it.

Guys, love and respect her. They go through a lot of crap in life and they take you and expect you to protect her. You are her blanket against the cold, "the knight in shining armor", the roof from dangers. She is fragile like a glass and you are the foam that protects it.

My 25th & China

It was a wee bit disappointing and a bit frustrating birthday. But after celebrating 24 times of birthday, it does takes its toll of being mundane. For the first time in several years, I celebrated by cutting a cake at home. Trish also came by to see me to celebrate with me at the shop. Brought a nice cake from Maxims. (Trish can i have a picture of the cake? I want to show them here)

Back at night, met up with Nellie, Hazel, Ven & Weng Siew (yat kau), Chyung and Bun Bun. Thanks for the entertaining yet fun night! It was awsome!

Somehow after studying International Business, I have been rather interested in the world economy. Have been learning so much about demand & supply and how this two simple things can affect the world economy. True there other factors out there that affects the world economy but usually it is these two things that starts it.

China
No doubt, China would be the leading economy in the world or most probably second after the States. From CNN Money, China would most probably lead the world out of the economic slump. This is seen with the sales of car to 13 million compared to 10 million in the US. Then China would affect USA economy somehow. Lets just say China is US's biggest debtor.

In my own opinion, China is also the leading provider of pirated and copyright infringement experts. I am sure everyone do know the fake iPhone. This product would soon be facing problem as soon as Apple gets out of the lawsuit from Nokia. Or Nokia gets out of Apple (it would settle of out court). China would face this and it is not the first, remember the poisonous toy? Did it affect China's economy? It is just a small fry. China is already known for this kinda of product and it would not affect anything.

I do feel China would rise very quickly. They will beat Malaysia to become a developed nation before we even get close. Reason being Malaysian government concern themselves too much by winning the people's heart with a lot of underhand tactics & race based issues. It is hurting the economy then helping the economy. At some point in every Malaysian market, China goods would be costing more then what it is today.

Reason being China's government is concerned about growing and Malaysia is concerned about destroying itself by keeping on introducing Racial Politics, Racial Issues to the mind of people.

Being 25.. and Older..

In approximately half an hour I would be 25. Not the right age as many would say be the age that one should still be studying. But I do believe this, "Education is the answer to the problems in the world, especially in Malaysia." and education would give someone the power of knowledge. Knowledge is Power!

I may not be able to enjoy myself tomorrow due to personal reasons. But I would be out at night to party with my mates and my love. Even with the current troubles in Malaysia regarding the forbidden word, I would be out.

I am condemning the attack on the Churches with Molotov Cocktails and paints. It is an act of middle age barbarians. I thought it was 1Malaysia concept being implemented and billions poured in. But this act of religious defense has turn it into something really ugly. I am really curious if the culprits would be arrested and put into ISA? Or would there be another "defense"? Or would it be forgotten like the Teoh Beng Hock case, that is soon to be swept under the rugs.

Why am I talking about politics and stupid acts of uneducated people. That is why I say education is power. It makes the world a better place and not just believe something blindly and open up the mind to other million of possibilities?

PEOPLE OPEN UP YOUR BLOOMING HEADS! We are in the 21 Century not in the 15 century! Do not let small things spoil a beautiful country called Malaysia.

3 major races living in harmony and unity with diverse culture. Would I would still be uttering these words 4 years down the road when an Australian ask me, What is Malaysia?

Facebook

It has been so long since I last updated my blog. Happy New Year to you guys who is reading this.

I wanna share a few thoughts that I have about the latest happenings.

Facebook
It is amazing how Facebook is able to capture various kinds of people to sign up and post picture and share their daily lives online. They have even gone mobile. Stand alone applications are also made
available for many different mobile phones. It is really scary how Facebook have been growing. It has the form of how Google have grown for the past few years.

It is funny really to see housewives, mothers, aunts and grandpa and grandma to have a Facebook account. But it is a fact that Facebook is the future of advertising. Almost everyone who has at least some knowledge about internet and computers would have a Facebook account. It is inevitable.

Sooner or later Facebook would become its own noun. Don’t think it’s possible? Look at Google. They are their own noun.

Facebook & Advertising

But what is Facebook is used as an advertising tool? Imagine how wide the reach would be. Applying things like AdWords into Facebook would definitely gain a lot of page impressions and let’s not count per-click.

As of late I have been seeing a lot of online shopping stores, DJs and brick-and-mortar have created their own fan page to get in touch with their customers, fans and supporters. This is a great way to get in touch with them with latest updates and latest things available in their store. This has also been taken a step further by Facebook. There is a choice where they can advertise their page on Facebook. It works by randomly selecting between paying customers and it is not irritating to the Facebook users. The effectiveness of this I have no idea.

But what if, it is taken a step further. Advertise on other websites as well. Like how Google is working with AdWords and AdSense.

Mark Zukerberg (founder of Facebook), has revolutionized how people spend their time online. I bet everyone of us with Facebook accounts, would click on Facebook on the browser speed dail or set is as the default page. Even in class, students with laptop would have their screen with something with a blue bar on top across the screen and a lot of pictures and text at the bottom.

Turn this traffic into an advertising media and I am sure the future of advertising would be taking its turn very soon. I am looking into possibilities but nothing just yet.

Breakout!

No no.. this is not a facial breakout.. (already had those for a long long time now.. under control though.) 

Just came back from Dewan Sri Pinang. Watched Breakout! Extreme Dance Comedy. When the curtain rolled open it gave the impression, break dancing is everything in this show. It was a very energetic show with a lot of slapstick laughs that everyone of all ages would understand. There was a granny in her 60s was laughing her butt off. At some point I think she was a lil out of breath during the time they were at the hospital. 

It is a tale of 5 prison breakers going through many different obstacle to get freedom (in the shape of a beautiful beach). Beatboxing, breakdancing and laugh out comedy was the base for the show. Choreography for the whole show was perfect plus they were able to get the crowds involved in the show, they strapped a "bomb" on an audience.. :D 

Great laugh for the whole family. I would go again if they come to Penang again. I advise u guys to do the same!
