Sony Ericsson for Gaming Mobile!

Sony Ericsson W910i

Since 2003, the N-Gage shook the world of mobile phones and gaming world. Nokia tore down the world between gaming and mobile phone usage. I had my share of the N-Gage about a year and a half ago. It was kinda like how Apple has taken over the world with iPhone currently or T-Mobile's Sidekick in the States.

But today, call me outdated, I just played with my friend, Karr's W910i. I feel they could be on to something here. Let's look at W910i. It is the "shake-music-change-phone" but now with their gaming stuff installed in their phone really wow-ed me. As we know, the W series are the walkman based and the K series are for the camera. These are the two that is running in Malaysian market like mad.

Let's forget about Sony Ericsson and the resale value, the joint venture between Sony and Ericsson has taken the world of mobile phone to brand new heights. Yes it is a joint venture and Sony didn't buy up Ericsson if that is what you guys are thinking. This all happened in 2001 (Wikipedia).

Going back to the "wow" thing with the W910i; The phone had an installed game where it uses
a ball and roll around in obstacle kinda like the game "Ballance" on mobile. It makes use of the "shake" function to actually control how the ball rolls around and how fast the ball will roll on how much you move the phone. This is like the new generation of gaming or something similiar might have been around somewhere else.

Now with the N95 being around and being hailed as the new N-Gage, the W910i could be the stepping stone for Sony Ericsson to come up with a new series which is the G-Series (not the sexual G la!!). If they are able, to keep creating games like the thing they are doing with the W910i, I could abandon my Nintendo DSi plan for the Sony Ericsson phone.

Applying physics to hand held devices and how motions and human movement could affect a certain condition in games would be a winner for gamers all around the world. Not just like Ballance it could be like Monkey Ball on N-Gage last time (my favourite game in N-Gage)

So if Sony Ericsson does read about this. A simple thanks and a courtesy of giving me the first copy of the phone would be cool.
