An intersting day today, bro and sis picked me up from the shop to go and get my glasses repaired. It took us about an hour to get it fixed with my sis going for her contacts. After that down to curiosity we turned out and Time Square was right in front of us.
We decided to turn up there and have a look. We turned up the new building and its a brand new concept of, "turning all the way up to the parking lot" in Penang. It is more squarish of a turn but much much wider. But people behind would get dizzy. We didn't put much hope to the place cause as heard it is still not fully developed.
True enough this is what welcomed us:
We looked around and my brother and I started laughing. There was no store open around it. They said Time Square opens by December 2008. But none of it was true! My brother and I started talking about how they would fail in making a big impact in Penang.
Nothing was open except a few push carts and a store called Nice Day was the obvious stores opened.
We went to one of my favourite fast food chains, Marry Brown! Bro had a Mushroom Chicken and sis had her nuggets. I just stick to Iced Milo due to the reason, I am FAT! As expected, they said the chicken at least had taste compared to KFC. In my heart, YES! Finally someone agreed to me that it is good. Not just the skin but the meat as well.
To end of the trip:
The guy behind the Mascot nodded his head eagerly when I ask if it is hot in there. But it is nice to meet him..

hahaahaaha..!! your post is hilarious.. everyone knows that times square is barely open.. ;p ;p the developers are friends of my firm so i shouldn't say too much bout them.. hehe..
btw marrybrown in bm sucks big time.. are you sure the penang one tastes better?? ;p ;p
not i want to say anything but.....seriusly either the developers or the management sucks and epic fail!!
it seems they didnt do their research properly and in the end going to become the second pragin mall.....
i LOL at the manager when i visit there and saw them in the mall....i really can't believe they dont even have common sense when they decide to let buyer to find the seller to open the shop....whatever...since they come out with this idea...will definitely fail in big time....
friend of the developers?....no offence...they should either goes bankrupt or get fired straight away. Penang don't need this kind of developers to waste the land for years for nothing in it....
