Forgotten girl dies in car while dad attends funeral

TUMPAT - IN A rush to attend a cousin's funeral, a man forgot about his three-year-old daughter who was sleeping in the car under the blazing sun about 500m away from the cemetery at Kampung Morak near here.
By the time he remembered about her more than an hour later, the girl had already suffered serious heatstroke. In the 11.45am incident, Nor Izyan Natasya Ishak died of severe heatstroke while being rushed to a nearby clinic.
Her father Ishak Salleh said he was in such a hurry to attend the funeral on Monday that the moment he arrived at the cemetery, he just parked his car, turned off the engine and locked the vehicle.
'I totally forgot that my daughter was sleeping in the back seat. After some time, I remembered about her but it was too late,' he said when met here. Mr Ishak said the moment he remembered that Nor Izyan Natasya was in the car, he rushed to her aid together with several villagers.

How Could this happen le? Makes me wonder as well... Poor girl... Condolences to the family and the lil girl...

Thats a New World Record! Ya My Arse!

Has anyone every wonder if World Record makes any sense. I don't mean like those in sporting events I am specifically mentioning the Guinness World Records and Malaysia Book of Records.

Let me walk you through why I am so free to think of such thing. As I was flipping through the papers today, I saw one whole big page of the over-rated Angry Bird as Nokia's attempt to make a World Record for Most People Playing in a Mobile Phone Game Relay. In my logic, I thought world record was suppose to be something that would help people some day in the future. For example it is impossible to save the world from playing Angry Bird are we? Even if there is a war between Earth and Aliens, I personally feel a bullet is more effective then a Red Bird or An-Accelerating-Yellow-Bird-That-is-Activated-With-a-Tap. Plus why do this in Malaysia? Don't tell me Malaysians are the most number of people playing the Bird game.

Wait! We were in the top 10 largest consumer of alcohol while we are a Muslim nation. It is also where both pigs and alcohol is a taboo. Plus Angry Bird is about killing pigs and Pigs as I said is TABOO in Malaysia.

Here is the thing, records in the Guinness World Records would actually help humanity some time in the future. But instead we have this:
  • Longest Distance Keeping a Table Lifted With Teeth
  • Most Number of Phone Books Torn
  • Longest Winning Streak on Street Fighter IV
  • Fastest Time To Blow Up a Balloon With The Eye
I bet we can't save the world by lifting the table with teeth, tearing phone books, blowing balloon with eyes or WORST! Playing Street Fighter IV.

None of this is the bigger joke the the Malaysian Book of Records:
  • Tallest Pencil (I bet you can't write with them. But can become a Flag Pole)
  • Longest Coin Line (Who still shops with coin?)
  • Most Crushed Egg With The Wrist (Good tool for the Char Koay Teow Aunty on Lorong Selamat)
  • Longest Abbreviation (This is must be a joke!) which is --> S.K.O.M.K.H.P.K.J.C.D.P.W.B., the acronym for Syarikat Kerjasama Orang- Orang Melayu Kerajaan Hilir Perak Kerana Jimat Cermat Dan Pinjam-Meminjam Wang Berhad. Come on this is a joke!
=.=! Malaysia Bo-leh (Pronounced in Hokkien, Boh-le..).. only in Malaysia

The Lighter Side.. Might Be Rude but It is Funny!

Social Networking.. Time have changed..

I remember back in the time when social networking mean differently to what it is today? Remember the time when we have friend out to meet up in Greenlane McDonalds for a chat. If we do have anything to SHARE we would SMS our friends or call them. Plus those who are in the top list of our FRIENDS were people we could easily talk to or hang out with.

I bet some of you readers out there must be thinking, "here we go again another son of a bitch is going to take a cheap shot at Facebook again." My main intention here to to outline a few similarities Facebook and offline have in common.

Remember back in the days when the Nokia 3310 was the hottest phone alive? Thats when every rich kids in school have it. It is also often referred to as the tool to crack crab shell ("kah chim" in Hokkien) or the tool that could drop off a 4 storey apartment and still survive the crash (as my friends used to say, "Cibai, Sah Lau Pak Kah Lau Lok Lai Pun Beh Phai Kok!" literally translated to, "Pussy! 3 storey drop down also won't spoil."

Get back to the topic at hand, the similarities. There is a reason why I think of such thing. I do feel Mark Suckderbird gets the idea for Facebook back in the years from the Nokia 3310. Let's see:
  1. Facebook has this major function called friends. Nokia 3310 we have phone book.
  2. Facebook got pictures. Nokia 3310, you can download pictures by looking through a catalogue on a Magazine or a website.
  3. Facebook we have the share button. Nokia 3310 there is the SMS function to SMS to friends about how we feel or any celebration we wanna do.
  4. Facebook there is Event Page. Nokia 3310 we can call to invite people to a party and we can RSVP with it. Plus Nokia 3310 allows us to optimise who we are inviting not any Tom, Dick & Harry that is on the Facebook friend page.
  5. Facebook has the Birthday notification. Nokia 3310 has the Calender button that lets you set birth dates of your close friends.
  6. Facebook has games. Nokia 3310 has Snake and Space Impact. Though u might argue you are playing with your online friends, but in fact you are playing it yourself even on Facebook. Honestly!
  7. Facebook has the CHAT function. Nokia 3310 can both call and SMS.
Alright those on top may not make sense to some of you. But Facebook has changed how we do what we used to do. Look at it this way, Facebook we have more strangers or non-familiar friends to when we were using Nokia 3310. In that phone, we get to keep our friends close and when we do hang out, we end up in McD or somewhere of a physical space.

This argument is definitely going nowhere even since when activist are saying we should get out more. The reason I wrote this post is because I have sometime while I was in the store and because of the following video:

After watching this video you would know what i mean. And oh yeah! there are things we do not share with a person that ask about our personal details, but we share it to the world of several billions of people of our information but we do not dare to give it to just one person on it. Why?!

1 Malaysia, ah?? Want want!

I bet most of us already know the flaws and the issue with the 1 Malaysia concept unveiled by Najib. As a lay person, the 1 Malaysia concept is to ensure all Malaysian thinks as; Satu Jiwa, Satu Bangsa. That is my understanding. Let me list down a few things that bercanggah with it.
  1. We have someone who goes by the name, Ibrahim Ali, that goes to BBC and say very proudly, "I say SHIT 3 Times!" Then he went on to bringing up racial slurs on other bangsa particularly the Chinese. He is also the PERKASA Big Gun.
  2. We also have Utusan Malaysia that mentioned, "1 Melayu, 1 Bumi."
  3. PAS and its propaganda for an Islamic State even after they joined Pakatan Rakyat, saying they won't push for an Islamic State.
  4. Mohd. Ghani, KOMTAR Merchant's Associations President, that sent a coffin to Lim Guan Eng and Ng Wei Aik. If you guys watch the video before, you would hear a lot of, Hidup Melayu! and "Inilah Akibat Main Ngan Melayu." BTW isn't this good enough to put those saying those into ISA? Happened to the 5 HINDRAF leaders when they said something along that line. If you haven't seen the video, here it is:
What I am saying here is, if you look at all of the issue that is faced by the 1 Malaysia concept is flawed because the people don't understand it. I believe the only obvious solution is to ABOLISH ALL RELIGIOUS BASED PARTIES!

True it would be hard to do because Malaysian are starting to think, not the Malaysian Education System that is, but the average Malaysians are starting to think and would rebel if something don't go their way. But anyone realised there is no such thing during the reign of Mahatir?

Dei!! If you want a united Malaysia, abolish all racial based party! Then just go with parties like DAP, keADILan, KITA and Barisan Nasional and just be happy with it. There is no need for racial based groups that would voice out crap when things are not right.

Maleh! If like that, UMNO, MCA and MIC is of no function right? This is why our English uncles wants us to create these 3 parties before they grant us independence. Then mari pulak all the PERKASA and gang. What for?! Abolish them all and just let MIC, UMNO and MCA do their work and help us voice out la. Other opposition based politcal parties also enough la, DAP and keADILan.

Najib! Just abolish them all!

Ending this on the lighter side:

This was taken at Sunrise McD. In my understanding, I have to go downstairs and there is an outside sitting toilet. So basically it is a toilet where I would be squatting and pooping in public. XD EEeww!

School Bullies

The youngsters today are really not that smart especially those are in school. True it is wrong to say that they are stupid when everyone else around the world is saying that they are in fact smart. But honestly, they are not! Let me tell you why.

Picture 1

Has anyone ever realised that most of the bullies in school are released through videos? Then they used one of the best marketing tool in the world today, Viral Marketing (Google it, if you don't know what that is!), to circulate it and let it be shared. The latest video of the girl getting bullied, the video was posted on Facebook and in the next few hours it became one of the most circulated video in Malaysia. To those who are lost in their own world and have no idea what i am talking about refer to picture 1 and this post.

To record this type of video is basically the same as recording a video of a drug trafficker showing how he is going to pack the drugs to transport them into Malaysia. Then continued by showing the time and date they are heading into Malaysia.

Honestly, how stupid can these youngsters be?

Then there the other thing is, are mobile phones even legal to be brought to school? I know back when the Education Ministry said mobile phones are legal in school but it was retracted back the next day (this several stupid decisions made by the Government would be mentioned on a later date). But most of this type of bully videos are recorded using mobile phones.

Come to think of it, has anyone realised that most of this bully-and-fights-recorded-videos from Malaysian students are Girls? Back in the time when I was in school, it was mostly boys whom are fighting and causing troubles. It comes down to either girls are getting more aggressive or the boys are getting more pussified?

Or! The boys are smarter then the girls by not recording the videos on their mobile phones? You be the judge

Share your thoughts in the comment at the bottom. Cheers!

Let's end my revamped blogspot and my first post on it with a picture that I capture from Borders, Queensbay.

I didn't know Pak Lah's Portrait Peribadi is Romance? Though he did marry someone during his reign as the Prime Minister but I doubt that would be romantic to most of us. Eeeeww!
